Creating Memories You Can Hold

Love From Laura was born in 2018 when just before my lovely Mam remarried I wanted to find a way for her Dad (my Grandad) to still be able to walk her down the aisle. He passed away in 2004 so this was going to be a challenge. After a lot of research I realised I could try and encase some of his hair that I had kept and place it into a pendant for her securing it with resin. The result was beautiful, not perfect but it was special, not to mention emotional. I began making items for friends and family and soon grew from a hobby into a passion.

I have built my Facebook page sharing stories of my own love and loss and that our grief, celebrations and memories are what we have in common. I love that we are and always will be a little community over there. Everyone is welcome to join and interact and are encouraged to do so. It's a place to grieve and heal but also to be joyous and thankful for the ones we love.
